Maryland Nutrient Management Setbacks From Waterways - Hydric Soils [Maryland]
Description:
These are formed under conditions of saturation, flooding or ponding long enough during the growing season to develop anaerobic conditions in the upper part. The dataset was extracted from The Soil Survey Geographic (SSURGO) Database that depicts information about the kinds and distribution of soils on the landscape. The soil map and data used in the SSURGO product were prepared by soil scientists as part of the National Cooperative Soil Survey.
