Abstract
This data represents zoning for Jefferson County, Wisconsin in 2021 and includes the layers 'Jefferson_General_2021' and 'Jefferson_Shoreland_2018' and the table 'JEFFERSON_ZONING_CODES_2021.' While the general zoning data is current to 2021, the shoreland zoning data is dated 2018. Both layers were submitted as part of the '2021 WLIP Call for Data' by the Wisconsin Department of Administration and are included here in one geodatabase for the convenience of the user. [General: This file contains the polygons for all parcels in Jefferson County and the data related to the zoning designation for all tax parcels.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [General: This file contains the zoning polygons for all parcels in Jefferson County. The data is complete for all the Towns. We are in the process of collecting data for all Cities and Villages and adding that data to this file. As of Oct. 2015, we had data for the Cities of Watertown, Fort Atkinson, Lake Mills Waterloo and for the Villages of Johnson Creek and Palmyra.]
