- This data represents roads for Lincoln County, Wisconsin in 2025. [This feature class consists of Road Centerlines information obtained predominantly by conducting field work using GPS technology and Orthophotography. This is a production level feature class where Road Centerlines are edited and managed by Lincoln County Land information staff and then published to serve the needs of the public.]
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This feature class shows all of the roads within Lincoln County. Road Centerlines represent the center of a road overlaid over various layers (Orthophotography for example) in order to provide navigational assistance, routing assistance, and address grid reinforcement to name a few. Road Centerlines include many helpful attributes but not limited to road classification and road names , address ranges, zip code, municipality information, and emergency service zone.]
