UNOSATThis map illustrates satellite-detected potential Coconut plantations areas in Farquhar atoll in Seychelles before the Fantala-16 tropical cyclone of the 18 April 2016. Using a Worldview-2 satellite image acquired the 01 February 2016, UNITAR - UNOSAT identified ~250 ha of potential areas with coconut trees. This is a preliminary analysis and not yet been validated in the field.
