New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Fish and Wildlife (FW), Office of Fish and Wildlife Information SystemsThe Brook Trout Conservation Zone is defined as all waters within the northwest region of the State, delineated by Interstate 287 to the east, Route 202 to the south, the New York/New Jersey border to the north, and extending to, but not including the Delaware River to the west (N.J.A.C. 7:25-6.2). All Brook Trout caught within the Brook Trout Conservation Zone, regardless of size, must be immediately released unharmed.This data set is a spatial representation of Brook Trout Conservation Zone based upon county boundaries in New Jersey and the statewide road centerlines for New Jersey developed by the New Jersey Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of Geographic Information Systems (OGIS), and the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) 2015 Waterbodies in New Jersey developed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Bureau of Geographic Information Systems (BGIS) from the National Hydrography Dataset.
