See Supplementry Information for more details. The purpose of this dataset is to provide a information in aerial migration across the Upper Midwest Great Lakes region on a site-by-site basis. This dataset is be used to build other predictive layers which can be used to identify general areas of greater and lesser airspace use by birds and bats. In addition, this dataset also provides information on directional movement of birds and bats as they migrate through the basin, allowing to the identification of lake crossing locations as well as areas where migrants avoid crossing the lakes.
