**UNOSAT code: CE20231007PSE** This map illustrates a satellite imagery based comprehensive assessment of damage and destruction to structures within the area of interest in Gaza City, Gaza Governorate, Gaza Strip, Occupied Palestinian Territory. The analysis is based on satellite imagery collected on 22-23 September 2025, compared with imagery from 8 July 2025. Additional satellite images used for reference and temporal comparison are listed in the copyright section. According to satellite imagery analysis, as of 22-23 September 2025, approximately 83% of all structures in Gaza City are damaged. Among the damaged structures, UNOSAT identified 17,734 destroyed structures, 4,345 severely damaged structures, 11,201 moderately damaged structures, and 7,941 possibly damaged structures for a total of 41,221 affected structures. Compared to the 8 July 2025 assessment, this corresponds to a 7% increase in total affected structures, and a 36% increase in destroyed structures, indicating worsening damage. An estimated 81,159 housing units have been damaged, 16% more than on 8 July 2025, which corresponds to approximately 467,523 displaced persons, according to SMC Partners' assessment (4 October 2025). The neighborhoods of Az Zaitoun and At Turukman - Ijdeedeh experienced the largest increases in damage compared to July 2025, with approximately 2,568 newly affected structures in Az Zaitoun and 1,440 in At Turukman -Ijdeedeh. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field.
