Ground Source Heat Pump Systems (Aggregated by Municipality) in New Jersey [New Jersey]
Description
This dataset displays efforts made by the NJDEP's Bureau of Climate Change & Clean Energy to determine and publicize the universe of ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems serving buildings in the State. For the sake of this dataset, GSHP systems were aggregated at the municipal level, but can be analyzed by GSHP well type, as well as the sector the systems are serving. In addition to the number of systems in each municipality, the total well depth, estimated system capacity, and estimates of the GHG emissions being avoided by the systems compared to conventional heating and cooling systems can be found in the dataset (for each well type and sector as well).
