New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Division of Water Monitoring, Standards and Pesticides Control, Bureau of Environmental Analysis, Restoration and Standards (BEARS)The Cooperative Coastal Monitoring Program (CCMP) assesses water quality at public coastal recreational bathing beaches and provides public notification. The Environmental Coastal Monitoring Program (ECM) assesses water quality at areas of primary recreation that are not at regulated public coastal recreational bathing beaches. The CCMP data displays the 2023 station locations and associated geomeans, advisories, bacterial exceedance closures, rainfall closures, floatables closures and other precautionary closures for the 2023 beach season as well as for the last 5 seasons.
