The regional data is created to be used by the MORPC travel demand model to evaluate transportation related projects in central Ohio. The numbers are estimates, based on local comprehensive plans, best available data and various weights and criteria. More detail can be found in the 2024 MTP report or by emailing dataandmaps@morpc.org Published November 16, 2023 Methodology is in the process of being documented and will be available as part of the 2024-2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. The land use model that generates these forecasts uses a combination of census data, building permits, existing and future land use (based on local comprehensive plans), local development knowledge, employment data, environmental constraints and various weights and criteria to estimate change over time in 5 year increments. Communities were given the opportunity to review data during the process. The employment data we receive has non-disclosure agreements, so numbers have been rounded and in some cases suppressed. This is the nature of this data and we are not allowed to share it at smaller geographies.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/679c2dcb11ab4ca096626773399261ab_19</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>Mid-Ohio Open Data</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>MTP 2024-2050 Land Use Forecasts (TAZ)</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:date>2024-2050</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
