- This data represents 6-year transportation construction projects for Wisconsin in 2021. [The Six Year Transportation Improvement Program layer displays projects that reflect the department's intent to improve the state and local highway system based on assumptions about available revenue, inflation and legislative decisions. As these assumptions change, so does the program. Therefore, project listings may change in the future. For more information, please visit the Six Year Highway Program webpage. Project information updates are paused in January for annual maintenance and resume updating at the end of January.]
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Six-year program for construction projects on all state and local highways (current fiscal year starting July 1 plus five additional years).]
