Abstract
These data layers represent zoning in Jefferson county in 2019 and 2018. The following features and the table are included: "Jefferson_GENERAL_2019, "Jefferson_SHORELAND_2018” and "JEFFERSON_GENERAL_ZONING_CODES_2019".For General:[This file contains the polygons for all parcels in Jefferson County and the data related to the zoning designation for all tax parcels.]For Shoreland: [Indicators for developement restrictions developed by using a 1000 foot buffer of DNR Hydro Polygons and 300 foot buffer on linear highwater mark from waterway DNR Hydro Stream Bank data set. Also included is the 100 Year Flood Risk developed by FEMA DFirm dataset 2015.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. For General: [This file contains the zoning polygons for all parcels in Jefferson County. The data is complete for all the Towns. We are in the process of collecting data for all Cities and Villages and adding that data to this file. As of Oct. 2015, we had data for the Cities of Watertown, Fort Atkinson, Lake Mills Waterloo and for the Villages of Johnson Creek and Palmyra.] For Shoreland: [Areas of building and developement restrictions. ]
