Scale:The area encompasses the towns and municipalities that comprise the Highlands region of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania as defined in the New York-New Jersey Highlands Regional Study: 2002 Update (United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry, December 2002, NA-TP-02-03), and the Highlands Regional Study: Connecticut and Pennsylvania 2010 update (United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry, Newton Square, PA, November 2010, NA-TP-01-11). Accuracy: This area needs to delineate the townships and municipalities within the Highlands Region. This gives enough detail to determine if a particular town is part of the Highlands region.
