Incident reports are completed for significant crimes, missing persons, and certain other events. Notable events that do not result in an Incident Report would include traffic crashes (see Traffic Crashes ); alarms, mental health cases, and minor disturbances (see LPD Dispatch Records ); and traffic tickets (see LPD citations and arrests ). Incident Reports pertaining to rape and related sex crimes is redacted from this dataset, in order to further protect the privacy of victims. These data are extracted from geocoded records.
