- This line data layer represents roads for Lincoln County, Wisconsin in 2017. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Lincoln_Roads_2017.gdb.[This data set consists of digital map files containing road centerline information obtained predominantly by conducting field work using GPS technology. Features contained in the data set include all road centerlines countywide and associated attributes and annotation. The Lincoln County Land Information Office plans to maintain this digital data in geodatabase format in an ESRI ArcSDE environment using ArcMap tools.]
- Purpose
- This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data set was created as a foundational element for the Lincoln County Land Information System. The road centerline feature class provides a digital representation of all named private drives, streets, county roads, state highways, and federal highways within Lincoln County and is to be used in conjunction with developed digital building, site access points, and driveway feature classes. The road centerline feature class was intended to be used to enhance addressing information within the County.]
