- This data layer represents road centerlines for Dane County, Wisconsin at year-end 2017. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Dane_Roads_2017.gdb. [This layer is a detailed line coverage of the Dane County roadway network containing attributes such as street name and address ranges, ZIP codes, speed limits and routing.]
- Purpose
- This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [A comprehensive street centerline and address range database to support Dane County geocoding, routing, and a cartographic product for official mapping.]
