TAZs are Traffic Analysis Zones and are the geographic unit used by the travel model. This TAZ shapefile extends out into the water for all shoreline zones, so the area and perimeter fields don`t represent the land area of the zone in those cases. There is another version of this shapefile (taz2000_no_water.shp) which is clipped at the shoreline which should be used in any density or other area-based calculations.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/491d842f59a04b3ebfb8aeaf4a2cad3d_0</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>Puget Sound Regional Council Data Portal</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>Transportation Analysis Zones 2000 [Washington (State)--Puget Sound Region]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>Washington (State)--Puget Sound Region</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Washington (State)</dc:coverage><dc:date>2000</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
