Abstract
This data represents roads for Rock County, Wisconsin in 2022. [This feature class contains all of the roads in Rock County, Wisconsin. They are captured as needed using GPS. The main purpose of this data is for use by 9-1-1 Communications as input into the Computer Aided Dispatch system. They do, however, fit many other purposes as used by other county departments.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Roads as captured by GPS for the use of the 9-1-1 Call center.]
