These ditches are artificially contributing water to the Little Yellow River and disabling them will restore wetland functioning and decrease downstream flooding. The points in this feature class represent potential, plausible, locations of soil plugs that could be installed in the ditches to disable flow. Ditch plugs could be constructed using soil in the existing spoil banks. Each point represents the approximate location of a 6 inch elevation change between the adjacent plugs.
