U.S. Fish and Wildlife ServiceThis layer was used in an educational StoryMap created by US Fish and Wildlife Service and Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration Program in collaboration with students at William and Mary. Layer created by Kathryn Lee, William & Mary collaborator to USFWS. The layer was used in a map that shows boat launch locations as well as conserved lands and wildlife recreation areas in the Penobscot Watershed in Maine. The goal is to show how the restoration efforts in the Penobscot River Watershed create healthier ecosystems, which helps create better recreational opportunities and wildlife viewing.
