Puget Sound Regional CouncilThis shapefile documents the location of regional shared use path facilities in the PSRC region. The non-motorized facilities (Facility Type 11 in TransRefEdges) were originally coded based on information provided by local jurisdictions as part of the 2012 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), then reviewed and updated as part of the 2018 and 2022 RTP updates. The 2022 RTP update used jurisdictional data provided in 2019 and 2020, along with supplementary data from aerial imagery and publicly available documents and maps where jurisdictional data was not available. PSRC determined whether facilities qualified as regional facilities based on whether they met the minimum design criteria and provided connections to regional destinations.
