It also monitors the prevalence of obesity and asthma and other health-related behaviors plus sexual identity and sex of sexual contacts. The survey is conducted every two years at the national, state, territorial, tribal government, and local level. The school-based survey is designed to be representative of 9th through 12th grade students.
