This feature service displays refuge and wilderness boundaries for the National Wildlife Refuges in the state of Alaska. These boundaries were established by Sections 302 and 303 of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (December 2,1980).The boundaries depicted in this feature service were compiled and are maintained by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Alaska Region, Division of Realty, Anchorage, Alaska and are the most current, definitive boundaries for the Alaska national wildlife refuges.
