U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service[DESCRIPTION] U.S. Department of Agriculture - Natural Resource Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) opportunities currently available within the Joint Venture Eight (JV8) Grassland Region. These boundaries indicate the eligibility area, and in some cases priority area, and the practices/objectives associated with each RCPP. Non-habitat (e.g. sustainable cropland practices) may not be included, as JV8 is focused on wildlife populations and habitat delivery, particularly avian species. Some RCPPs are administered directly by one of the eight Joint Venture partners, many are administered by other conservation partners. A short description of the objectives of each RCPP are provided with the data. The boundaries for some RCPPs were not available and may be omitted. This layer contains some active RCPPs funded prior to 2024, see the NRCS Story Map for the full list of funded 2024 RCPP projects.
