MDOT Railroad Centerline Routes data consists of linear geometric features which represent the track centerline for railroads throughout the State of Maryland. MDOT Railroad Centerline Routes data is owned & maintained by the MDOT Transportation Secretary's Office (TSO). This data product was originally developed by the MDOT SHA OIT Enterprise Information Services - GIS Team, who continues to provide data maintenance & support for MDOT TSO. MDOT SHA Railroad Centerline Routes data is updated on an 'As-Needed' basis. MDOT Railroad Centerline Routes data contains attribute values related to Railroad Ownership. These attributes were populated during a collaborative effort with the MDOT SHA Office of Information Technologies (OIT) and the MDOT Transportation Secretary's Office (TSO).
