Thurston GeoData CenterThurston County Zoning data layer. Zoning information for County, Urban Growth Areas, and the Cities of Lacey, Tumwater, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Bucoda, and Yelm are complete and updated as required. All information for Jurisdictions other than Thurston County, in this data, should be confirmed with that Jurisdiction directly. This layer is built into the Jurisdictions layer, based upon the Jurisdiction field that is used in the nightly combo table process that informs the Permitting Jurisdiction in Amanda and the Parcel Information Report. The layer is maintained to be parcel specific where appropriate however errors may be introduced due to the shift of parcels with in the Assessor's parcel layer. Updates are made to the layer as annexations occur. This update may include not only a change in the listed Jurisdiction but, depending on the action taken by the Jurisdiction in question, it may also include a change in Zoning Type. Thurston County (Jurisdiction) Zoning is designated in the Thurston County Comprehensive Plan. Joint Plans are also maintained for Bucoda, Lacey, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater and Yelm as a part of this policy.
