Estimates are for the current boundaries for growth areas - regional and urban centers - of the City of Seattle Comprehensive Plan. A special tabulation of Washington State Employment Securities Department (ESD) employment data by the Puget Sound Regional Council for monitoring employment in the City of Seattle Comprehensive Plan. The table summarizes "all jobs" by growth area by year. Employment reporting for the purposes of comparison to Comprehensive Plan growth estimates uses "all jobs" which are calculated as the covered employment reported from the Washington State Employment Security Department QCEW data plus an estimate of the remaining jobs not covered by unemployment insurance minus jobs in the construction / resources sector.
