It was created using color orthorectificed aerial photography that was captured in April 2005; this photography, in addition to other digital sources cited in this document, were used to compare with the previous (2001) Inventory to identify areas of change. The minimum land use classification area size was 1 acre or 2.5 acres (within the City of Chicago 0.5 acre or 1 acre), depending on the type of land use being classified. Land use categories define homogeneous areas and represent features as they appear on the earth's surface. They are not generalized to any other geography. 2005 Land Use Inventory Classification Scheme 2005 Land Use Inventory Metadata Lookup table for LANDUSE field for shapefile version Lookup table for LANDUSE2 field for shapefile version</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/2be439b2e0e84f58ab219b7baf3feff2_3</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>CMAP (Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning) Data Hub</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>2005 Land Use Inventory for Northeastern Illinois [Illinois--Chicago]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>Illinois--Chicago</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Illinois</dc:coverage><dc:date>2005</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
