This line data layer represents hydrography for Manitowoc County, Wisconsin in 2016. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Manitowoc_HydroLine_2016.gdb.[Rivers, streams, and creeks in Manitowoc County. Features were delineated using Manitowoc County's 2010 digital orthophotograph.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Water feature linework was originally created by Aero-Metric, Inc. as part of a 2000 digital orthophotography project. They were updated by Ayres Associates as part of a 2005 digital orthophotography project and by the Manitowoc CountyGIS Office after a 2010 digital orthophotography project. The dataset was converted from an Esri shapefile to a file geodatabase in 2011.]
