IN SWMP is an in-lieu fee (ILF) program allowing the DNR to sell stream and wetland mitigation credits that can be used for compensatory mitigation for unavoidable impacts to waters of the United States and isolated wetlands in the State of Indiana. IN SWMP operates 11 geographic Service Areas Statewide based on ecoregion, physiographic, watershed and economically viable considerations. Two of the 11 Service Areas are 8 digit HUCs, and nine are a combination of two or more 8 digit HUCs. Stream and wetland mitigation credits must be purchased and mitigated in the same Service Area in which the permitted impacts were authorized.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/28bae1df0ea8475d9f45598300a12e95_0</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>IndianaMap</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>IDNR Stream and Wetland Mitigation Service Area Boundaries [Indiana]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>Indiana</dc:coverage><dc:date>Last Modified: 2024-12-18</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
