Description
The Energy and Water Benchmarkign Ordinance allows owners and occupants of properties over 20,000 square feet to understand their building's relative energy performance and helps identify opportunities to cut energy waste. Using the EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) tool, Covered Properties track and report annual energy and water usage. The Energy and Water Benchmarking Map is an interactive map where current and prospective owners, renters, and occupants an view individual property benchmarking reports to understand properties' relative performance and make informed decisions to make property improvements, rent, or occupy part of a property.
