Permanent List of Priorities (PLP) [Minnesota]
Description
This dataset represents active sites on the Permanent List of Priorities (PLP), otherwise known as MN Superfund Sites. The locations, classifications, and other information about the site is included. The Minnesota Environmental Response and Liability Act, Minn. Stat.§ 115B.17, subd. 13 and Minn. R. 7044 require the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) to establish a PLP for releases or threatened releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants. The MPCA lists and delists sites as required by statute., The attributes and locations of PLP sites provide information and context to support decisions on environmental cleanup, emergency management, and maintaining environmental quality. These data are intended to inform environmental research and public inquiries., These data are refreshed daily and pushed out to the Minnesota GDRS and the Minnesota Geospatial Commons.
