The dataset consists of: 1) DTAT Residential Permits: Point features representing permitted residential developments across the Twin Cities Metro Area from 2009 to 2024. Permit points that fall within a given high frequency transitway buffer**, in years that the transitway is active, are coded by transitway. All single family detached permits (SFD) have been excluded from this data. Please see the “Lineage” section for more info on the DTAT process. 2) DTAT Non-Residential Permits: Point features representing permitted non-residential developments across the Twin Cities Metro Area from 2009 to 2024. Permitted development types include Commercial, Industrial, and Public/Institutional. Please see the “Lineage” section for more info on the DTAT process. **Metro Transit defines high frequency transit as local bus, BRT, or LRT lines that operate every 15 minutes or less on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., as well as on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. </dc:description><dc:description>The purpose of the DTAT permits data is to provide transparent public access to the same data processed for the annual Development Trends Along Transit (DTAT) Report. These permits have been classified by high frequency fixed route transitway, based on the permit year and transitway’s active date. Consistent with DTAT methodology, the permit points can further be viewed by graduated symbols based on permit value, to reveal development patterns near high frequency transit. </dc:description><dc:description>This data represents the permits behind development trends in the Twin Cities Metro Area from 2009 through 2024. The DTAT permits data is updated annually and represents a snapshot in time.</dc:description><dc:format>Files</dc:format><dc:identifier>us-mn-state-metc-trans-dtat-permits</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>Development Trends Along Transit (DTAT) Permit Data [Minnesota]</dc:title><dc:type>Datasets</dc:type><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Anoka County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Carver County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Dakota County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Hennepin County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Ramsey County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Scott County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Washington County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota--Twin Cities Metropolitan Area</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Minnesota</dc:coverage><dc:contributor>Minnesota Geospatial Commons</dc:contributor></oai_dc:dc>
