Summarized at the census tract; summarized at the year the application was submitted to SDCI. We present the number of housing units and of buildings included in applications. We also disaggregate housing units in applications to count the units in buildings that have completed construction, are currently in issuance, or are in pre-issuance. Housing unit counts for projects in pre-issuance and issuance are subject to change, as development plans may change as development proceeds. Housing unit counts before a permit is issued may be missing, incomplete and/or erroneous and must be used with extreme caution. Housing unit counts at issuance and completion have had extensive staff review.
