The Arts Education Program (AEP) is designed to support In-School and Out-of-School-Time arts and humanities projects for children and youth in pre-school through high school settings. The grant also supports professional development opportunities in the arts and humanities for classroom educators. The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities recognizes the importance of remaining relevant in a city of competitive opportunities for residents who have at their disposal significant discretionary income for arts and cultural offerings.
