This is the domain table for the Boards and Commission List and Names (designated by the Chief Data Officer (CDO) per Mayor's Order 2017-115, DC Data Policy). Districtwide domain tables are database tables designated by the CDO to provide a standard source of values to be used across District information systems and data transformations. The source table for this is the VW_DC_AGEN_BOARDS_COMM_COUNCIL layer. Boards and Commissions that have budgetary and dedicated staff, for example an Executive Director, are considered to "agencies" and have been removed from this table. They can be found in the Agency table. This data is used for the planning and management of Washington, D.C. by local government agencies.https://octo.dc.gov/page/district-columbia-data-policy
