Oakland County, MichiganThe 1949 Historic Orthoimagery dataset was created from hardcopy aerial photographs originally donated by DTE to the Wayne State University Digital Library. The majority of the images georeferenced by EDCA were sourced from high-resolution PDFs available through the Wayne State digital collection (https://wayne.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/dte-aerial). In cases where images were missing from the online archive, high-resolution scans of the original hardcopies were used instead. One image, located just south of Rochester in the Rochester Hills area, remains unavailable.
