Description
This dataset is exclusive to estimates of habitat capacity (i.e., duck-energy-days). Duck-energy days, or DEDs, in this dataset were calculated assuming the average daily energy requirement for waterfowl in this area is 218 Kcal/day. Note: this is for estimation purposes only, and has some limitations. Calculation of kcals were different for each habitat type within this footprint.To learn more about this dataset and how it was generated, please refer toScientific Foundation for the Texas Coastal Bend Landscape Conservation Design.This is a tiled feature service of DEDs in the Texas Coastal Bend Landscape Conservation Design, and utilized in theTexas Coastal Bend Landscape Conservation Design data viewer.
