Washington State Geospatial PortalThis data has been provided by the Washington Office of the Secretary of State and shows precincts with splits. A precinct can sometimes be called an election district or voting district. Precincts are usually the smallest unit of organization for an election district. The split precinct is the exception to this rule. A split precinct is one in which some of the voters in the precinct vote in one election district and other voters vote for the same type of office, but in a different district.
