Description
A survey map of the whole of Allendale Township and a portion of Polkton Township, both located in Ottawa County, Michigan. Allendale Township is located below the Grand River, while Polkton Township is located above the Grand River. Note: a small section of Tallmadge Township is located in this map, also above the Grand River in portions of Sections 1 and 12. This land was measured in several pieces: the southern boundary in late 1830 or early 1831, the subdivisions in both 1832 and 1837, and the northern, eastern, and western boundaries in 1837.
